Renewal is the least complicated thing on this site: you keep the same username, the same password, the same server and the same installed apps. Nothing is reinstalled and nothing is re-configured. The only thing that changes is the date the subscription stops. What catches people out is timing — renewing after expiry instead of before it.
Step 1 — Find your expiry date
You cannot renew early if you do not know when your plan ends. Three places to look, in order of reliability:
- The order conversation — the date you paid, plus the plan length, gives you the expiry date. Check the plan length on the pricing table if you have forgotten which one you took.
- Your player app — most Xtream Codes players show account information, including the expiry date, in the settings or profile screen.
- Support — send your username and ask. It takes them seconds and removes all doubt.
Write the date somewhere you will see it — a phone reminder a few days before is the single best way to avoid a lapse.
Step 2 — Renew before the expiry date
Renewing a day or two early is not a wasted day: the new period is added on top, so you lose nothing and the service never stops. Renewing after expiry does not merge the two periods, and it opens a gap in which a few genuinely annoying things happen:
- Your playlist stops loading and the app may drop the profile, so you have to re-enter three fields from memory.
- The TV guide stops updating and its cache goes stale — see fixing an empty TV guide.
- Favourites, custom channel order and recordings scheduled in the app can be lost if the profile is removed.
- If you have been sharing the account beyond your connections, the gap is when a suspension is most likely to be applied.
Step 3 — Message support with your existing username
Renewing is a single message. Include these four things and it is handled in one exchange:
- Your existing username — this is what ties the renewal to the right account.
- The plan length you want — for example, six months or twelve.
- The date you want it applied — usually "now" or "from my expiry date".
- Whether you also want extra connections — if two people in the house watch at the same time, this is the moment to add them.
Support confirms the total, you pay, and the expiry date moves forward. There is nothing to download afterwards — close the app and open it again if you want to see the new date immediately.
Step 4 — Confirm the renewal worked
Ten seconds of checking saves a support message later:
- Open the app and check the account information screen — the expiry date should have jumped forward.
- Play one channel and open the guide once. Both loading normally means the account is active on the server.
- Nothing changed? Force-close the app and reopen it, so it re-reads the account from the server instead of a cached answer.
Early vs late renewal, side by side
| Renew before expiry | Renew after expiry | |
|---|---|---|
| Days lost | None | None — but the service stops meanwhile |
| Same credentials | Yes, untouched | Yes, normally kept |
| Playlist in the app | Never interrupted | May need re-adding |
| Favourites / channel order | Preserved | At risk if the profile is removed |
| TV guide cache | Keeps updating | Often goes stale |
| Support effort | One message | One message plus troubleshooting |
If the subscription has already expired
Not a problem — renew the same way, with the same username. Two extra steps are worth taking:
- Do not create a new account. A second account leaves the old one behind and you will end up paying twice or juggling two logins. Always renew the username you already have.
- Re-check the guide and favourites after the renewal. If the app dropped them during the gap, a full guide refresh in the player settings rebuilds the guide; favourites you may have to re-add once.
If the app shows "account expired" even after the renewal is confirmed, force-close it and reopen. Account state is cached on the device, and a fresh start pulls the updated expiry date from the server. Full sequence in fixing IPTV login errors.
Changing device or adding a screen at the same time
Renewal is the natural moment for housekeeping, and both of these are handled in the same message:
- New device? Install the player, log in with the credentials you already have, and uninstall the app from the old device if it is being sold or given away — installing on many devices is fine, but simultaneous streams are counted.
- Second screen? Ask for an extra connection rather than reusing a spare device's login. Two simultaneous streams from one connection is the most common cause of random "login failed" messages for everyone in the house.
Pricing for a longer duration or an extra connection is always confirmed in chat before you pay — see how paying works.
Frequently asked questions
No. A renewal extends the account you already have, so the username, password, server address and your installed apps all stay exactly as they are.
No. The new period is added on top of the remaining days, so you keep everything you paid for and the service simply never stops.
No. Nothing on the device changes during a renewal. If the app still shows the old expiry date, force-close and reopen it so it re-reads the account from the server.
Yes. Message support with the same username and the account is extended from the expiry date. Avoid opening a second account; you would end up with two logins to manage.
Ask support with your username — it is shown on the account. As a rule, one connection allows one stream at a time, and a second household screen needs a second connection.
